Office Based Apprenticeships
Salary details: £11,150
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to work within our Repairs and Maintenance Team.
The successful candidate will be part of a team of mixed trade staff whom are responsible for carrying out day to day responsive repairs in council dwellings. The post holder will be responsible for carrying out bricklaying repairs and associated multi-skilled work types to all SLHD managed dwellings or any other property type as directed by Team Leader.
The post holder shall carry work in in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, risk assessments and safe systems of work and manufacturers’ manuals where applicable. This includes using all plant and equipment provided by St Leger Homes in accordance with instructions, procedures and current safety legislation.
Bricklayers on the responsive repairs also carry out roof repairs to properties; the candidate must be able and comfortable to work at height.

We are looking for a candidate who has been apprentice trained to NVQ Level 2 and has experience of providing high quality bricklaying and roofing works to domestic properties
You must hold a Blue Craft CSCS Card or have the required qualifications, capacity and willingness to complete the safety test and obtain the relevant CSCS card prior to starting employment.
As this is very much a customer focused role, excellent person and communication skills are important.
A Full UK Drivers Licence is Essential.
